KEITH SWANSON, Psy.D.

Educational Background and Qualifications Dr. Keith Swanson obtained his Doctorate in Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in 1991. His philosophy in counseling is based upon Proverbs 21:30, which states, “There is no wisdom or understanding or counsel against the Lord.” In other words, Dr. Swanson’s approach is based upon a Biblical worldview. The Word makes it clear that any approach contrary to this is not good counsel. His specialty is children, ages 4 to 12 years old. Freedom in Christ Ministry with Wife Keith and his wife Lindy became Ministry Associates with Freedom in Christ Ministries in 2006. They have been involved closely with this ministry since 2003. This is a ministry of reconciliation that helps Christians remove personal and spiritual conflicts. This enables them to enjoy their freedom in Christ and enter into greater Spiritual maturity.

Harmony of Ministries
Keith finds a great deal of harmony between Freedom in Christ Ministries, The Principle Approach®, and Christian Online Academy. In each case the child of God finds both heart and mind transformed as they are renewed in the Mind of Christ.

Servanthood and Homeschool
Keith takes his role as head servant in the home seriously. He arranged his practice and place of residence to allow daily participation in his children’s homeschool education as “Principal,” encourager, teacher and cook.

Discipleship and Christian Worldview
Since 2004, Keith has acted as Director of Life Development Classes, which is the adult discipleship program at Capital Park Wesleyan Church. He currently teaches the Pathway to Biblical Liberty video series and America’s Providential History to ages junior high through adult (both studies are available at Christian Worldview Store.
